The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau’s priority has always been the safety of its employees and the meeting and convention attendees in the Statehouse Convention Center, Robinson Center, Ottenheimer Market Hall and all other LRCVB managed facilities. That’s why they are taking necessary measures to react to the COVID-19 health crisis.

Providing a safe environment for their clients, visitors, attendees and staff is their top priority. Their team is committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness throughout their facilities. Considering the dramatic changes to public health guidance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have updated and enhanced many of their cleaning and safety protocols to help ensure the safety and security of everyone who walks through their doors.

Their commitment was demonstrated by becoming Arkansas’s first event facility to achieve Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, LRCVB has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention in the Statehouse Convention Center.

What does that mean for you?

Arkansas Phase 2 guidelines are still in effect and require face coverings by all visitors. Don’t have one? They will have extras to hand out. Their staff and all of our volunteers will be wearing them too. The building’s staff will provide steady cleaning of all high-contact surfaces including door pulls, escalator rails and elevator buttons. The LRCVB’s disinfectant procedure adheres to CDC guidelines and hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the facility. To help with social distancing, all elevators are limited to a capacity of two.

Please adhere to any guidelines that the state and facility require and understand that these decisions are being made with the safety of everyone involved with the show in mind. For any addditional information, you can contact the Arkansas Department of Health at (800) 803-7847.
